Will I see a moose?

Maybe! You can go out on your own or with a guide or on a moose safari – we have information available in the office

Do you allow pets?

Yes, dogs only, please see the Pet Policy page.

Can we bring our boat?

Yes, boat docking is free to our guests. Boat launch is at the Junction Wharf, one quarter mile from motel.

What is the tax rate?

Maine has a 7% Lodging tax.

Do you have cribs?

No

Do you include breakfast?

No. We do have coffee (regular and decaffeinated) available in the office. We can direct you to restaurants that serve breakfast

Do you have a restaurant?

No. Greenville has a variety of restaurants to choose from. We would be happy to direct you.

Access to ATV trails?

Yes, at the present time ATV’s are allowed on portions of the main road. This allows our guests to access the ATV trails, restaurants and downtown Greenville directly from our property. http://www.mooseheadlake.org/atv.shtml

Is Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Motel open year round?

No, at the present time we are open from May until the end of October. We take reservations year round. You can make a reservation while we are closed through our online reservations, send us an email (chaletmoosehead@gmail.com) or call and leave a message.
